I am a trading assistant i can sell your stuff on ebay! Parker 51, vacumaitc filling model in dove grey with lined gold filled cap. Amazingly crisp, naer mint condition. Sharp lines, sharp edges, pristine two-tone clutch ring. Early pattern fat-arrowhead clip in vermeil, with gold fill over silver, a typical wartime configuration from when brass was a strategic material. Clear imprint with '6' date code with two dots, indicating production in hte second quarter of 1946. Beautiful glossy plastic. The nib is nice and long, fine to medium point. Restored and working with a new diaphragm just installed. The area around the filler at the back of the barrel shows a little lightening in the color, but it's solid. The combination of the pale gray barrel with the gold filled trim is one fo the most beautiful parker produced, and typical of the pastel colors of the era.
