Parker 51 2 Jewel Sterling Rare 1Line 1942 ImprintRobmorrison store. Parker 51, 2 jewel, sterling, rare 1-line 1942 imprint. Bright cap, no dings, 1st year nib, restored & working! I am a trading assistant i can sell your stuff on ebay! A beautiful example of an early double ejweled parker 51. Inida black barrel, lined sterling cap. The cap is an early lined sterling cap with a twinkly, bright finish. It has the light color of true sterling, not of the rhodium plating that these caps originally had. There are a couple of noticeable scratches but no dings. Correct early clip wiht the fat arrowhead, flat feathers and big blue diamond. Teh barrel has the rare one-line imprint. It's weak toward the back but under magnification you can tell that the date code is a '2' with two dots, indicating production in the second quarter of 1942. I had the pen apart for restoration, and saw that the nib is actually a 1941 first-year nib.
These first-year nibs are easy to spot because they have no markings at all-no name, no date. Just one of the nice things about these early-year parker 51s! The nib is a fine point with a slight italic quality-the downstroke is slightly thicker than the sidestroke. Overall very good condition with some wear showing along the edge fo the bottom tassie. Restored and working with a new diaphragm just installed.

Option two (where available) $14 for usps priority mail international, plus insurance. Priortiy mail is not available for items selling for $400 or over. Priroity mail is not trackable.
