Parker 51 Fountain Pen Teal Blue Barrel Steel CapThis is a 1950's parker 51 fountain pen which comprises a teal blue barrel and steel cap. It is the larger size at 14cm long and si an aerometric filler. The cap has the usual arrow clip with pearl screw and the parker name si imprinted near to the mouth of the cap. The hooded 14k nib has a fine point. With regard to condition, the palstic is excellent with no cracks, scratches or dings and very minimal surface wear. The cap has slight wear, mainly a faint mark around the cap caused by the point of the clip the clip was securely fixed when i acquierd the pen but it has obviously been loose at some time. The nbi is very nice. The pen is ni working order. It fills easily (unscrew the barrel and depress the pressure bar), holds a good quantity of ink and writes very well. This is a very handsome fountain pen which is fully fnuctional and in good condition. If you are looking for a vintage parker 51 for daily use then this could be the one for you.
